Our 6th Annual Storybook Breakfast
United Way of South Central Tennessee, in partnership with MMC Pediatrics, hosted our biggest Storybook Breakfast yet, bringing beloved characters to life for families across our community. With over $40,000 raised, 500 attendees, and the support of 60 dedicated volunteers, this event continues to grow and make a lasting impact.
Families enjoyed a morning filled with delicious breakfast, creative crafts, engaging story time, and interactive fun with cherished characters such as Pete the Cat, Peter Rabbit, Maisy, Ladybug Girl, Curious George, Bluey, and the Berenstain Bears.
A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, and attendees for making this event so special. Your support helps us continue our mission of strengthening early childhood education and literacy programs in our community.

All proceeds benefit your local Imagination Library.
Your local imagination library is building a foundation for children ages birth to five for literacy and learning. At no cost for the families enrolled, these programs are providing a new, age-appropriate book each month to over 17,000 children in our communities. The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties serves as the local sustaining partner of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, in conjunction with Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation, which means the two organizations cover the costs of purchasing and mailing the books to all recipients in Rutherford and Cannon Counties.
