United Way Volunteer Day

Get Involved. Give Back. Take Action.

Join us for United Way Volunteer Day, presented by Volunteer State Bank, on April 25th and 26th!

Join us in celebrating National Volunteer Week! At United Way, we witness firsthand how volunteers transform our community. To showcase the incredible impact of local service, we're hosting a two-day event that connects passionate individuals and groups with nonprofit organizations. Discover meaningful volunteer opportunities and be part of the positive change happening right in your local community.

What is United Way Volunteer Day? United Way Volunteer Day is a two-day event to celebrate the power and impact of volunteers. Nonprofit agencies will provide service opportunities and volunteers will sign up to complete those needs.

When is United Way Volunteer Day? Volunteer opportunities will take place over the course of two days: Friday, April 25th and Saturday, April 26th. This will allow more organizations and volunteers to participate at a time that is convenient for them.

Where is United Way Volunteer Day? Service projects can be hosted in any of the seven counties we serve: Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Lincoln, Moore, Rutherford, and Warren counties.

How can we be involved? Nonprofit agencies can register a service need on Volunteer Connect for April 25th or April 26th. Service projects must be in UWSCTN’s seven county service-area (Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Lincoln, Moore, Rutherford, and Warren) and must take place on Friday, April 25th and/or Saturday, April 26th. Volunteer sign-ups will open in March.
