The United Way Born Learning Academy offers tips, tools and resources to make sure kids are ready to learn when they start kindergarten. It's a series of six free workshops that help turn everyday activities into early learning moments. Parents and caregivers with a child who hasn't yet entered Kindergarten and/or parents-to-be who are expecting a child are invited to register for the Academy. Workshops are held in the evening at Scales Elementary. We provide dinner and fun childcare during each session.
Fall 2024 Born Learning Academy
This Academy will be held at Scales Elementary School from 5:30-7:00 pm on the following dates: October 17th, October 24th, October 30th, November 7th, November 14th, and November 21st. Please make plans to attend each of the 6 sessions.
