Baby Basics

Everyone deserves an equal chance at a bright future, and that includes our community's youngest members. The Baby Basics Collection Drive, presented by Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, supplies expectant and new mothers and their babies with a basic supply of items that every newborn needs.

Our 2025 goal is to support 500 new parents and babies through the collection of diapers, packages of wipes, blankets, bottles, and onesies. Donations will be distributed to local organizations: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, First Choice Pregnancy Center, Holloway High School, Nurses for Newborns, Nurture the Next, Rutherford County Health Department, Rutherford County Safe Baby Court, Stonecrest Medical Center, and more.

Baby Basics is comprised of two parts: the Collection Drive (6-week collection of items needed) and the Sort-a-Thon (one-day packing event). 

All items should be new and for ages newborn through 6 months.

Drop off all collected baby items during the following times.

February 19th from 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM

All previously collected items will be sorted and packed on February 20th from 8:30 - 10:30 AM.
